BHOHA
Bangladesh Hard of Hearing Association (BHOHA) is an informal group of young hard of hearing and deafened people in Bangladesh formed in 2011. Any hard of hearing person residing in Bangladesh can be a member of this association. Deaf peoples' organization in Bangladesh do not consider Hard of Hearing peoples' need and then, they do not encourage Hard of Hearing people to get involved with their organization. The other organization of persons with disabilities also do not focus on the need of hard of hearing people. All they have their own issues to implement. Thus, Hard of hearing people in Bangladesh generally does not have any leader and spokesman to speak on behalf of them. This is reason behind to form Bangladesh Hard of Hearing Association. This group is striving for advocacy for the every matters concerning hard of hearing and deafened people in Bangladesh
