The proceeding of seminar on the eve of 3rd December International Disabled Day started with the verses of Holy Quran, recitation made by Mr.: Rustam Jamali. Honorable Guests were paid warm welcome by NDF President, Abid Lashari. Traditional Gift of AJRAK was presented to Honorable Guests. Madam Faryal Talpur presented AJRAK to MS.Judy Norbury. MR: Abdur Razzaque Qureshi presented AJRAK to MR: Ross Haunt. Mr.: Abdul Haque Jamali presented AJRAK to MR: Ghullam Nabi Nizamani. MR: Abid Lashari presented AJRAK to Zila Nazim Nawabshah, Madam Faryal Talpur. MR: Ghullam Sarwar Jatt presented AJRAK to Abdur Razzaque Qureshi, DCO Nawabshah.

MADAM FARYAL TALPUR, DISTT: NAZIM NAWABSHAH :
Chief Guest of occasion Madam Faryal Talpur welcomed foreign delegation and said in her speech that NDF Nawabshah doing well for the welfare of disabled community. She said that Disabled Persons are called Special Persons so that special persons require special attention. Society must change their attitudes towards Pwd's. Districts Government intends to work in disability field for the rehabilitation with the joint co-operation of NDF. She assured her support for the survey of persons with disabilities in the District.

MS.JUDY NORBURY - (DPI- CANADA)
MS.Judy said in her speech that she felt comfort for visiting rural areas of Sindh. Peoples of this region are very kind and hospitable .Persons with disability is doing well for their community. They must be supported the society as they may prove themselves useful part of the society. Before this there was misperception that Pakistan is land of terrors and especially about Sindh that there is security Risk but when I visited here there was nothing like that perception. She vowed to report all efforts made NDF, to DPI Head quarter as Attention be drawn over the issues.

MR: Abdur Razzaque Qureshi, DCO Nawabshah
MR: Abdur Razzaque Qureshi welcomed the foreign delegation and said in his speech that Disabled persons are equal partners of our society. They must be encouraged in all fields. He also assured foreign delegation about satisfactory law and order situation in Sindh that we believe in Sufism and Sindh is land of Sufis and Sindh is land of peace. He appraised the efforts of NDF and assured its full support for the betterment of disabled community.

MR: ROSS HAUNT
Mr. Ross Haunt said that we felt very comfort to meet Sindhi peoples here. He said that the real work in disability field is to be done. We all have to play vital role to create environment to facilitate persons with disabilities in the society.

MR: Ghullam Nabi Nizamani - vice chairman, DPI-AP
Mr.: Ghullam Nabi Nizamani said in his speech that persons with disabilities have potential to work with all stake-holders for the welfare of society. International organizations must draw their attention over the issues of organizations of Pwd's working in the rural areas of Sindh southern part Pakistan.

MR: ABID LASHARI President NDF-Nawabshah.
Mr. Abid Lashari said in his key-note speech that it is great honor for NDF that a foreign delegation led by Ms. Judy has graced this occasion. it is first time in the history of Sindh that any foreign delegation has ever visited disabled organization in rural areas of Sindh. While number of delegations visit Islamabad Lahore and big cities of Pakistan. But rural Sindh bitterly ignored on pretext of security risk. While Sindh has no fear of terrorism, Sindh is peaceful land of Pakistan. We hope that Ms. Judy will be satisfied in her tour and will prove wrong misperceptions. she will build up confidence among other visitors and well-wishers of disabled community, that they must visit Sindh and join hands with disabled community of rural Sindh, for the improvement and enhancement of capacity building and working areas.

He also highlighted the functions of NDF that we work to empower Pwd's and to create barrier-free and right-based society for persons with disabilities .he assured all stake-holders of society that Pwd's have God - gifted abilities, if they will be offered proper opportunities that they can play vital role for the welfare and construction of right based society .Society must change their attitudes towards Pwd's to facilitate, to encourage Pwd's to make them equal partner of society.

In the end all participants were served with refreshments.
