Deaf Women Cricket

Deaf Women Cricket

First time in Pakistan provided opportunity to young and old women with hearing disability, to play Cricket. We organized first ever Deaf Women Cricket Tournament among 4 teams of Karachi in March 2022. And first ever inter-city Deaf women cricket tournament, among Karachi and Hyderabad in December 2022.

Inclusive Art for Environment

We organized first ever clay pots painting competition among deaf and hearing artist, in Karachi Pakistan. It was first ever inclusive clay pot painting competation. The aim was to bring deaf, hard of hearing, deafened and hearing people togheter and to raise awareness on Environment, Planatation, Home Gardening, CFC gasses, etc.

Hearing Assessment Camp

We regularly organize meeting and workshops for people with disabilities on various topics. We also organize different health related campaign, for example on World Hering Day we organized hearing assessment camp, on International Week of the Deaf we organize small workshops for the Deaf community relted to the theme topics.

Danishkadah is member of various organizations bodies, such as World Hearing Forum (WHF) of WHO, Asia Pacific Federation of Hard of Hearing and Deafened (APFHD), International Federation of Hard of Heraing (IFHOH) People visa APFHD, and Community Based Inclusive Development Network - Pakistan(CBID -NP)

WORLD HEARING FORUM (WHF)
Hearing Care for All! ~ Make the Listening Safe!

Danishkadah is member of World Hearing Forum (WHF). The Forum created by a UN agency World Health Organization (WHO) with aim to prevent hearing loss and promote hearing care. Danishkadah is actively inloved celebrating World Hearing Day, after attending first workshop of WHO in Duha Qatar in 2013. We are also helping WHF by voluntarily regularly translating WHO material related to WHD in Urdu. So people who cannot understand English can access the material in Urdu.
